We, at the Bethel Historical Society, are honored to have been chosen to receive the 2018 Best of Bethel Award for Non-Profit of the Year. Our works are accomplished by the hard-working members of our Board of Directors whether we are conducting our Laura Ingalls Wilder event, our Victorian Christmas Tea, our Colonial Kids Camp with visits to Holbrook Farm and a tour of Putnam Park, our Masquerade Ball, our Ghost Tours, our Walking Tours, our newly installed Tour Boxes on historic structures, our 23rd year of conducting an historic tour for all Bethel 2nd graders, or, new this year, conducting a day-in-the life of a one-room schoolhouse for all Bethel 3rd graders. Again, we are honored to have received this award.
Elizabeth Raymond Ambler Trust
Grant Received

The Bethel Historical Society wishes to thank the Elizabeth Raymond Ambler Trust for their recent generous gift of $4,600 to the Bethel Historical Society.

Their donation will be used to complete our website section of our Museum in the Streets, highlighting about 30 historic Bethel locations.

We invite you to view our website at bethelhistoricalsociety.com to take a tour through the sites that are the first group to be installed in downtown Bethel. We are very proud of the work the Historical Society Directors have completed to date. Stop back and view the site again as it will continue to grow over the next several months.

The Bethel Historical Society is grateful for the support the Trust has shown us.
